The Library supports the school curriculum with essential resources,
and provides access to the computerised catalogue and internet-connected
computers. At lunchtime, the Library is a popular place to read, relax and research.
Library lessons provide students with opportunities to
appreciate literature and to learn information skills. The Teacher
Librarians also coordinate the Scholastic Bookclub program and the Premier's
Reading Challenge. Exciting activities such as Scholastic Book Fairs,
Book Character Parades and Children's Book Week activities mean that there
is always something happening in the Library to encourage a lifelong love of
books and reading.
